☆About Dr. TOUHI Channel

We launched the Dr. TOUHI channel with the concept, "If you know your scalp, you will understand your hair."
On our YouTube channel, former hairdresser Nishikawa Takahiro and Dr. Aiko, a doctor who graduated from the University of Tokyo, will be working together to provide authentic information on questions about the scalp and the relationship between the scalp and hair, based on the knowledge they have gained from their experience as hairdressers and evidence from a doctor's medical perspective.

Hair affects how old you appear. Takahiro Nishikawa has seen many scalps throughout his career as a hairdresser, and he launched this site to reaffirm that scalp care is the most important factor in maintaining beautiful hair.
The quality of the scalp and the quality of the hair are directly linked, so it is now possible to predict skin type and even future hair problems just by looking at the scalp.

Among the customers who come to the store, many men are concerned about thinning hair, and many women are concerned about gray hair. However, the most serious concern for both men and women is thinning hair. This YouTube channel will provide information on thinning hair from both a hairdresser's perspective, focusing on prevention, and a doctor's perspective, focusing on treatment.

During my time as a hairdresser, I learned that there is a limit to how much you can make your hair beautiful by simply working on the hair. Treatments, straightening perms, and hair straightening only have a temporary effect, and I believe that the only way to make your hair beautiful from the ground up is to care for your scalp.
Just as plants can only grow in healthy soil, beautiful hair can only grow from a healthy scalp.

As a doctor, I would like to share information about AGA (androgenetic alopecia), which I am currently involved in in my medical practice. I would like to share accurate information about the causes of AGA, treatment methods, and side effects of treatment. AGA is also common among young people, and the sooner it is treated the sooner it will heal, so I will share accurate information based on medical evidence. I also plan to share whether the information people often say, such as "eating hijiki will make your hair black" or "stress will make your hair thin," is correct.

◆Takahiro Nishikawa

Born in Kyoto in 1982. CEO of DIA Co., Ltd. After honing his skills as a hairdresser, he went independent at the age of 24 and opened a hair salon called DIA in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. After that, he realized the importance of scalp care and developed and sold his own product, "Dr. TOUHI", and three years later, he achieved annual sales of 3 million yen as a single hairdresser. After selling Dr. TOUHI online, he became fascinated by the possibilities of the internet and retired from hairdressing at the age of 1. At the age of 30, he founded DIA Co., Ltd., an IT services company. He is currently mainly involved in customer attraction support for the beauty industry and video production.

◆ Aiko Sensei

Born in 1988 in Mie Prefecture. Representative director of the general incorporated association Next Beauty Labo. After graduating from the University of Tokyo, he specialized in neurology, but became involved in the treatment of AGA (androgenetic alopecia), which led him to realize the importance of scalp and hair care. He aims to become a "hair doctor" by opening "Dr. TOUHI Clinic" in March 2023, which will be able to provide support for all scalp and hair problems.
